Version 1.0 · Effective 29 October 2026 · Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms are published by Bellette Media Pty Ltd (ABN 34 089 989 417) ("bellette", "we", "us"). They cover bellette Social Publisher (the "tool"), the internal tool our staff use to schedule and publish social media posts for our clients. "bellette Social Publisher" is also the name shown on the platforms' permission screens.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to:
- authorised users: bellette staff, and staff of HutSix (Hut Six Pty Ltd), our sister company that runs the tool for us, who have been given an account; and
- anyone who connects an account to the tool, by approving it on a platform's sign-in or permission screen.
The tool is an internal, staff-only tool. Our clients don't log in to it, and it is not offered to the public. We may send a client a preview link so they can review a draft and comment on it. Please use it only for that review, and don't share it outside your organisation.
By using the tool, or by connecting an account to it, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy for the tool explains how we handle information.
2. Our client agreements come first
Our services to clients are governed by our Multimedia Supply Agreement – Standard Terms and Conditions and the client's Quote. These terms:
- are not a "Policy" for the purposes of that agreement, and do not form part of it;
- do not vary that agreement, add obligations for clients, or limit any client's rights; and
- give way to the client agreement if the two ever conflict.
3. What the tool does
The tool lets authorised users prepare, schedule and publish posts to Facebook Pages, Instagram professional accounts, LinkedIn company Pages and a staff member's personal profile, YouTube channels and Google Business Profile locations, and see how those posts perform. AI assistants can create drafts in the tool, but a person reviews and schedules every post.
The tool can't edit or remove a post once the platform has published it. Changes to a published post are made in the platform's own tools.
The tool is built on Postiz, open-source software licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. The source code of the version we run is available on request from support@bellette.com.au.
4. Platform terms
- YouTube: by using the tool, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.
- Other platforms: content published through the tool, and the accounts it publishes to, are also subject to each platform's own terms and policies, including the Google Terms of Service, the Meta Terms of Service, the Instagram Terms of Use and the LinkedIn User Agreement. We ask each client whose Facebook Page or Instagram account we manage to agree to the Meta Terms of Service, including the Meta Advertising Standards, and we record its agreement. We follow Meta's Pages, Groups and Events Policies when we publish.
5. Connecting accounts
If you are an authorised user and connect an account, you confirm that:
- you are authorised to manage that account, Page, channel or location;
- the client that owns it has authorised bellette to publish to it and to read its performance; and
- for a Facebook Page or Instagram account, the client has agreed to the Meta Terms of Service and the Meta Advertising Standards.
If a client's own staff connect an account, the client agreement governs, and these terms add nothing to it.
We keep a record of each client's authorisation. We never create or claim a Page, profile or channel for anyone without their consent, and we never block a client's own access to its accounts.
If the tool makes any change to a client's Google Business Profile, including publishing a post, we tell the client within 48 hours (for example, by email). If a client tells us to stop, we stop using the Business Profile APIs for its profile straight away and, within 7 business days, remove our staff as managers and make sure the client has full control of its profile.
You can remove the tool's access at any time. Our data deletion instructions explain how.
6. Acceptable use
Authorised users must:
- publish only content the client has approved, and for which the client has the necessary rights and the consent of the people who appear in it;
- check every AI-assisted draft before scheduling it;
- follow each platform's terms and policies;
- keep their password unique and secret, not share their account, and tell us straight away if they think it has been misused;
- use the tool only for bellette's work for its clients.
No one may use the tool to:
- publish anything unlawful, defamatory, misleading or deceptive, discriminatory, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- publish anything that intrudes on someone's privacy or misuses their private information;
- collect, copy, export or combine information about followers or other members of the platforms;
- use one client's information for another client;
- try to get around the tool's security, or access accounts or data they are not authorised to use.
We may suspend or remove an authorised user's access if we believe these terms have been broken, or to protect the tool, our clients or the platforms.
7. Content and ownership
Ownership of the content we publish for clients is governed by the client agreement. We use client content in the tool only to provide our services. Once published, a post is public on the platform and is handled under that platform's terms.
8. Availability
We work to keep the tool running, but it can be unavailable at times, for example during maintenance, or when a platform is down or changes or withdraws a feature. A post can then publish late or fail. When a post fails, our team is alerted so it can be fixed.
9. Your rights under the law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. These terms do not add to or limit bellette's or any client's liability under a client agreement.
10. Privacy
Our privacy policy for the tool explains what information the tool holds and how we use, share, protect and delete it.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page with a new version number and date, and tell authorised users, and the people who have connected accounts, before the change takes effect. A change to these terms does not change any client agreement.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Northern Territory, Australia, and the courts of the Northern Territory have jurisdiction.
